• Before taking a shower, use a wide tooth comb to detangle the toupee and get rid of any knots.

• When shampooing, be gentle on the toupee, being careful not to scrub or tug too hard on it.  

• After shampooing, rinse the hairpiece thoroughly to ensure all product is out.

• Rinse thoroughly after conditioning to remove any remaining product from the toupee.  

• Pat the hair system dry after washing with a towel, and then let it air dry. 

• Avoid using a blow dryer to dry the hairpiece, which can damage thehair system and adhesive. 

• Don’t overdo it with washing hair systems. Ideally, they should be washed only one to two times a week.  

• For those who are very active or sweat frequently, it may be necessary to wash the hairpiece more often. 

• Wear a shower cap on non-wash days to keep thehair system from getting wet in the shower.
